This is an open message directed to both boys and girls, new and old residents, from yours truly Bulma Brief! Those who have been here for longer may remember me talking about setting up a beauty store, if not, well, I did it and it's on the journals. Now then, things have been a bit hectic, so it has taken me longer than I expected, but it's done now. So! If you are in need of a hair cut or a hair dye or just washing your hair and can't do it yourself or would prefer to have someone do it for you, feel more than welcome to drop by "Pearl Eden"! It's located at house 29, following the path to the Battle Dome. The salon has its own entrance so just head there if you want. Also, if you want I can take appointments through the journals.

[Though she doesn't think there will be a need for that, actually. Still someone is bond to want to use this, right? She can recognize a dyed hair when she sees one after all and she knows there are people who do it, having someone else do it for you it's always easier, isn't it?

At risk of being just making a retoric question without an answer... How do you deal with a man from your world and future for whom something has happened between you both but you're too far back in time, at the point at which at most you're just curious about him?

[Talk about complicated questions. She intended to stop there but she ends rambling a bit.]

I mean, I really don't think that there's something as a predestined thing or something settled in stone, and it's not like it would really matter here of all places. It's not as if he seems particularly interested or is the romantic type, but I know him and there's... Something not right, when right is "how I'm used for things to be", you know. It's not that it's wrong but it's not what I'm used to and even if it's not something big it's enough for it to be awkward. What is a girl supposed to do here? Jump into his arms just because it seems that on our world that's what I'll do in my future? But this isn't our world and it's n ot as if we're the only ones here, as meaningless as it may be, it shouldn't be bad to keep options open. I'm still young and I'm definitively single at my time back home!

But there's a kid. In the future, not for me yet! Still, the thing is there's a son and though I don't know how is the Malnosso's record of bringing here babies or little kids... I've seen little children around so it's a possibility. And I'm not sure I would like for my son to arrive and be traumatized because things aren't like what he's used to. On the other hand, doing something just for the sake of someone who may or may not appear here doesn't really sound like a good idea.

Yup! I like the style I have now so just need a trim to keep it manageable.

Well, I washed it this morning so a dry trim is probably all it really needs.

Sit here then. I assume it's only the ends which you want to trim, right? Keep mostly the same length and style but making it more comfortable?

Yeah! Just make it look a little neater is all. When it gets too long it takes even more gel to get it to stand up right.

I can see that. Good thing there's no money here or you would be broke just due how much gel you would use.

[Chuckling as she gets to work.]

Hey! I manage just fine at home! I've gotten really good at just using a very little for this style!

How long have you been using this style? Must have been a while for you to master it like that.

[Over a hundred and thirty years.] For awhile now. I've styled it this way since I was a boy.

I see, and not wanting to change it, huh? Well, it does look good on you so it's no wonder.

How is this the hair style of a momma's boy? God, no, it doesn't make you look like that, neither goofy. I think it looks quite cool on you, it works well with your height and your facial structure.

To be honest even if you asked me to change your hairstyle I think the most I could do is just leave it down and loose. I bet you would look smoking hot with that too, but tfar more practical for a man.

That's what I think too! I should get you to talk to my friends sometime! They all think I look like a broom.

I can see the resemblance, but that doesn't mean it doesn't suit you or looks cool on you. There are people who wear the bowl cut and look like mushrooms, but the cut suits them and they can pull it out to be cool so what's the problem?

I don't think there's any resemblance at all! [Don't mind him as he grumbles quietly to himself.]

What about a mullet? Have you ever seen someone look good with one of those?

Maybe it's due the color of the hair, if it was any other color I'm sure no one would notice it.

One person. A kid, actually, but I doubt he will be able to keep pulling it off when he grows up.

Well, my hair is blond, not yellow. [Vash huffs. It just wasn't fair. Why'd brooms have to be yellow?]

Oh, yeah? I guess I can believe that. Kids seem to be able to make anything look cute.

Close enough still. Besides the texture isn't that great, to be honest.

[You could use a bit of hair care, man.]

Then again, the other style I've seen him with was the bowl cut which made him look ridiculous, so it's not as if it was that hard to make it better. Even with a mullet.
